David Langer and Tim O'Dalaigh had two RBIs apiece and Grant Mendoza earned his third pitching win of the season as the Chabot baseball team rallied past City College of San Francisco 6-4 on March 10 in the Coast Conference-Golden Gate.

Jack Delmore was stellar in relief to nail down the victory, tossing 4.2 scoreless innings with two walks and three strikeouts.

Chabot emerged from an early 2-0 deficit with a two-run third inning following by three runs in the fourth. O'Dalaigh had an RBI single in the third to drive in Troy Bachand. Cole Coffey scored the second run after O'Dalaigh stole second. After CCSF retook the lead 3-2 in the top of the fourth, Langer smacked a two-run double in the bottom of the inning and O'Dalaigh scored on an error.

CCSF cut the deficit to 5-4 with a run in the fifth, but Chabot catcher Alex Perreira delivered in the clutch in the seventh, driving in Jalen Bustos with an RBI double.

Mendoza, the starting pitcher, allowed two earned runs and struck out four over 4.1 innings.

The Gladiators (7-12, 1-2) will travel to CCSF on Tuesday, March 13, and then will then open a home-and-home series against College of San Mateo at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 15. The Gladiators and Bulldogs will meet again on Saturday, March 17 in San Mateo.
