Chabot (2-6) dropped a tough, 9-8 decision against host Fresno City on Feb. 9. 
Leadoff Cole Coffey, the third baseman, was 2 for 5 with two runs scored, a double and two RBIs. Noah Stewart (DH/second base) had two RBIs. 

The Gladiators led 7-1 after the top of the seventh inning but couldn't nail it down.
Others with two hits were catcher Jake Crittenten, first baseman Tim Michael and center fielder Trevor Contier.
Chabot is scheduled to host Cosumnes River on Feb. 12 at 2 p.m.
