The young Gladiators (9-13, 2-4 Coast-North) split games last week, besting Ohlone 71-60 on Jan. 23 and falling to first-place and state No. 2 CCSF 82-47 on Jan. 25. Jordan Cineus led the way against Ohlone with 16 points. Kolby Charles (13 points) and Akili Daniels (12 points) also reached double figures. Kyle Brown had nine rebounds and Jordan McGlory had eight assists.
The Gladiators will look for a season sweep of Canada-Redwood City on Friday, Feb. 1 as they open the second half of conference play. The game will tip off at Chabot at 7 p.m.
