The Chabot men’s basketball team notched two more victories last week to up its winning streak to 11 — the fifth-longest current winning streak in the state — and remains tied for first place with CCSF in the Coast-North Conference.
The Gladiators had a week for the ages. The Glads (16-8, 9-1) stunned State No. 2 City College of San Francisco 89-87 on Wednesday and moved into a tie for first place in the Coast-North Conference.

The Chabot men’s basketball team earned an 82-70 victory over Foothill Junior College on Monday in a Coast-North Conference rescheduled game. The teams were supposed to meet on Jan. 4 to open conference play, but the game was rescheduled due to the recent storms.
The Chabot men’s basketball team had a 1-2 record against tough competition in the Shasta Invitational last week. The Gladiators, ranked No. 4 in the Preseason CCCMBCA Men’s Basketball Poll, will travel to Monterey Peninsula on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
