Proctor And Kho Sizzle In Backstroke

The Gladiators received some quality efforts from a variety of sources in the "Last Chance" Invitational.

Matthew Proctor and Mathew Kho were one-two in the 100 backstroke in 58.10 and 58.21, respectively. Proctor was also second in the 200 backstroke (2:09.85). Chabot flexed some muscle in the 400 IM as Proctor was second (4:41.00), Kho was third (4:53.15) and Nicholas Gamboa was sixth (5:03.59).

The Chabot men took first place in the 400-freestyle relay in 3:41.67 with a team of Gamboa, Nicholas Dodemaide, Kho, and Proctor.

Marco Cazares was third in the 200 butterfly (2:32.38). Charlie Dinatale was second in the 1-meter diving with 107.63 points, and he was fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:34.00).

The durable Gamboa was also fourth in both the men's 1,650 freestyle (19:51.04) and the 500 freestyle (5:38.69).
