The Chabot men's tennis team, with just one returner from the highly successful 2022 team, opened the 2023 season with a rousing victory over Solano, 8-1.
Returner Stefan Schneider out of Alameda High rallied for a hard-fought win at No. 2 singles 4-6, 6-2 (10-2).
Next, the Glads will face Menlo University on Thursday and then will compete in the Modesto tourney on the weekend.
