The Chabot men's tennis team finished third among 10 teams in the 48th annual Modesto Tourney on Feb.10-11.

Chabot's Timon Nguyen won the Flight 4 Consolation singles finals, and Gonzo Bedoya won the Flight 6 Consolation singles finals.

The Glads open play in the Coast Conference against Ohlone on Tuesday, March 7. They will also host William Jessup University on Thursday, March 9, an opponent with three former Chabot players on scholarship — Roger Wen, Sam Smith and Noah Moeckelmann.

Chabot has prepared for conference play facing a tough nonconference schedule.
