The Chabot men's track and field team had a nice haul of four top-8s in the CCCAA State Championships on May 18 in Bakersfield.
Zach Connolly led the Gladiators with a fifth-place finish in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase in a time of 9 minutes, 45 seconds. Roman Johnson was sixth in the 100 (10.89), Conner Mckinnon was sixth in the 800 (1:59.38), and Patrick Alexander was eighth in the pole vault (4.45m).
Chabot finished 21st in the team standings with 10 points.
