The Chabot men's team, which had two individuals in the top five and finished tied for fifth in the team standings at the NorCal Championships, will compete in the 2022 Cross Country State Championship on Saturday, Nov. 19 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
The Gladiators' Daniel Trampe was third in the 4.0-mile NorCal race, in a time of 22:05.0 and Muhammed Ahmed was fifth (22:12.0). Chabot had 158 team points, tying for fifth.
The women's state race is 3.1 miles and the men's is 4.0 miles.
