The Chabot men's cross country team finished second among the community colleges competing
in the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University this past weekend.
With 19 schools represented in the Open Division, the Glads placed ninth overall. Leading the way was Chabot sophomore Daniel Trampe with a time of 24:58, to finish 12th out of 305 participants.  Trampe was also the top Community College athlete in the field.
Other scoring members of the team were Dylan Baptista (26:15), Kyle Galinis (26:19), Brian Kirrane (27:05), and Amartya Poovaiah (27:26).
Next for the Gladiators is the Coast Conference Championships on Oct. 25 at Palo Corona Cross Country Course in Carmel.
