The Chabot College men's cross country team earned the Coast Conference championship for the first time.
With 37 points on Wednesday at Carmel Valley, the Glads edged out runner-up De Anza by four points in the conference meet.
Daniel Trampe led the Galloping Glads finishing third as an individual in a time of 20 minutes, 55.9 seconds over 4 miles, and he was backed up by teammates Dylan Baptista (21:20.8, fifth), Brian Kirrane (21:42.3, seventh), Kyle Galinis (21:51.5, 10th), Logan Phulps (21:56.1, 12th), and Amartya Poovaiah (22:48.3, 20th). Also, Anthony He was 54th.
