The Chabot women's tennis team (12-4) continued its successful season in recent action.

The Gladiators completed the regular season with a 4-2 record in matches dating back to February 27.

In a 5-4 loss against American River on March 10, Chabot's Monique Tran and Brianna Wong defeated Sabryana Boudrean and Michelle Camacho 8-4 in doubles, and Chabot's Dianna Rodriguez and Angelina Battur also won singles matches.

In a 6-3 defeat against De Anza on March 9, Sharon Cahill and Battur prevailed 8-1 in doubles.

In an 8-1 win over Canada on March 7, Sophie Moeckelmann beat Juli Longato 6-2, 6-2. Chabot also swept CCSF 9-0 on March 6, as Moeckelmann beat Yvone Ng 6-1, 6-3 and Cahill bested Abigail Campos 6-3, 6-2.

Chabot also notched convincing wins over Bakersfield, 5-0 on March 2, and Cabrillo 8-1 on Feb. 27.

Chabot will be one of the top four teams for the team playoffs. The NorCal team winner will face the Southern California winner for the State Team Championship in Ojai in late April.
