Chabot College Women's Tennis Team

The No. 2 seed Chabot women's tennis team finished an outstanding season with a 5-3 loss to No. 1 seed Foothill in the Northern California Team Championship on Saturday, April 20.
The Gladiators had a fine 20-4 overall record, one win away from advancing to the State Championship.
In highlights, Chabot's Stephanie Huang won her match 6-0, 6-0 and Stephanie Huang was leading 7-5, 5-1 when her match was suspended after Foothill earned 5 points to clinch the team win.
In doubles, Huang and Sophie Moeckelmann prevailed 8-4 and Lisa Bargeman and Kathleen Berriatua won 8-5.
The State Individual Tournament will begin on Thursday, April 25 in Ojai.
