CHABOT STARS SIZZLE AT DVC
The Chabot men's and women's track and field teams had outstanding showings in the Diablo Valley College Preview meet.
On the men's side, Robert Stitts had an impressive sweep in the sprints, taking the 100 meters (10.61) and 200 (21.51).
Aiden Letson was first in the 400 hurdles in a PR of 55.63.
In a show of force, the Chabot men's 4x400 A relay team took first in 3:23.51, and the Chabot B relay was second in 3:26.40.
In women's action, Chabot star Medha Gowda finished first in the 1500 meters in a time of 5:09.40.
The Glads also swept the women's 100 as Nyarah Anderson-Brown was first in 12.25, Rymiyah Pringle-Hamilton was second in a PR of 12.33, and Niah Alomar was third in 12.38.
Pringle was also first in the 200 in a PR of 24.99. In the 400, Marysol Vidal was second in 1:01.63.
The Chabot women's 4x400 relay was first in 4:16.63.
Azsiyah Sap-Beito was first in the discus at 35.98 meters and second in the shot put in 11.60m.
