CRUM SCORES TD IN TOUGH LOSS

Jeremiah Crum had three receptions for 114 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown grab from quarterback Zach Taylor-Smith, in the Gladiators' 38-14 defeat at City College of San Francisco in the Bay 6 Conference.
CCSF (6-3, 3-1) is ranked No. 12 in the state JCAB Football Poll and No. 10 in the CCCSIA Football Poll. Chabot falls to 2-7 overall and 1-3 in the Bay 6. The Gladiators conclude the season at home against rival Laney (7-2, 3-1) at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12. Laney is ranked No. 7 in both state polls.
Taylor-Smith, who passed for 226 yards, scored in the second quarter on a 1-yard run against the Rams to cut the deficit to 21-7, but CCSF scored the next 17 points to put the game out of reach.
Ismael Sanchez led Chabot all carriers with 41 yards rushing on 16 carries.
