The Gladiators (6-1) rebounded from their lone loss of the season to win two straight and claim the Consolation Championship of the Shasta Tournament last week.
Chabot defeated American River 69-61 in the consolation final after routing Siskiyous 81-47 in the consolation bracket. The Gladiators saw their four-game winning streak snapped with a 64-54 loss to Santa Rosa in the first round.
The Gladiators showed impressive depth against American River as Jabari Sweet came off the bench to score a team-high 15 points and Ryan Parrilla stepped up to score 14. Chabot rallied from a four-point deficit to outscore American River 35-23 after intermission.
