In a track and field meet in Chico on March 10, Chabot's Roman Johnson took first in the Invitational men's 100 meters with a season-best time of 10.74 seconds, the second-fastest time in Northern California.

Also, the trio of David Frisbie, Jordan Kirby, and Zach Connolly mixed well with the exceptional distance runners of Chico State, with seasonal bests of 4:00, 4:05 and 4:08. They rank first, second, and fifth in Northern California.

Nick Pepares had a personal best in the javelin and placed sixth place with a toss of 45 meters.
