Chabot College track and field stars shined at the CCCAA State Championships at Modesto Junior College past week.
Muhammed Ahmed had a monster meet, taking third in the men's 5,000 meters on Saturday after taking second in the 10,000 on Friday.
Sprinter Zion Mayo was sixth in the 100 and fifth in the 200 on Saturday.
Diesel Wilson placed 12th in the men's long jump.
Chabot finished a very solid 10th in the men's team standings.
"It went well," Chabot men's coach Kyle Robinson stated. "10th in the state on the men's side is not too bad."
