Chabot (1-2) routed visiting Mission 81-42 on Nov. 2 as Ariel Hines led the way with a double-double of 28 points and 16 rebounds, shooting 12 of 20 from the field and 4 of 5 on free throws.
Chabot's Kelly Tumlin had a versatile effort with 15 points, 10 steals, seven rebounds and five assists. Leilani Gonzalez was strong off the bench with 14 points, four rebounds and two steals. She was 4 of 6 from the field and 6 of 7 on free throws.
Tumlin also had 21 points in a season-opening loss to Santa Rosa on Nov. 1.
In a loss to San Jose City on Nov. 5, Chabot's Kendra Grant had a double-double with 16 points, going 5 of 5 on free throws, and 13 boards. Hines had a team-high 16 points and eight rebounds.
Chabot is back in action in the Merced Tournament, Nov. 10-12.
