Chabot (2-4) closed the Merced College Tournament with a 67-46 win over Modesto on Saturday, Nov. 12, after falling to Santa Rosa 80-71 and Laney 90-65. The Gladiators will play three games in the Sierra College Tournament (Nov. 17-19).
Dede Franklin led the Gladiators with 22 points against Santa Rosa. The Gladiators were outscored 27-11 in the fourth quarter and fell by nine. Ariel Hines had 16 points and six rebounds.
