Chabot College freshmen Patrick Alexander and Zach Connolly earned individual titles in the CCCAA Northern California Championships on May 11 at Sacramento City’s Hughes Stadium.
The Chabot Track & Field program is excited to be hosting a large group of universities and community colleges in the San Francisco Distance Carnival on Friday and Saturday.
In a shining event for Chabot College and the Track and Field program headed by Kyle Robinson, the Gladiators hosted the San Francisco Distance Carnival on March 30-31.
Chabot freshman Patrick Alexander moved to No. 2 all time at Chabot in the pole vault with a winning mark of 15 feet, 1 inch in his section at the Sacramento State Hornet Invitational, held March 16-17.
Alexander moved past Ken Grace by an inch on the Chabot all-time chart and is ranked No. 1 in Northern California.
In a track and field meet in Chico on March 10, Chabot's Roman Johnson took first in the Invitational men's 100 meters with a season-best time of 10.74 seconds, the second-fastest time in Northern California.
Freshman Patrick Alexander led Chabot at the Beaver Relays with a first-place mark of 14 feet, 9 inches -- a State qualifying standard. Alexander, a Washington High graduate, is now the Northern California leader.
