Sophomore night was extra special for the Chabot women’s basketball team as five Gladiators reached double digits in a rousing 80-64 win over College of San Mateo on Feb. 22.
The Chabot women continue to turn up the volume down the stretch. With a showdown with CCSF looming on Wednesday in San Francisco, the Gladiators are coming off back-to-back wins last week over Skyline and Ohlone.
Chabot's Mia Finnie had a big game in a 66-61 loss to College of San Mateo on Jan. 30, with team highs of 23 points and 10 rebounds. She was 10 of 19 from the floor.
Chabot women’s basketball coach Mark Anger called it a “tough loss,” but the Gladiators expect to recover just fine from a 74-72 defeat to rival City College of San Francisco on Jan. 25 in a Coast-North Division showdown.
After an impressive win by 23 points over San Jose in its Coast-North opener on Jan. 11, the Chabot women’s basketball team will host Las Positas (6-9, 1-1) at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16.
