Athletic Training
The goal of the Chabot College Athletic Training Program is to provide student-athletes with appropriate injury prevention, management and rehabilitation techniques. The coed Athletic Training Room will be comfortable and accessible to all coaches and athletes. The Athletic Training staff, under the direction of the Chabot team physician, will provide the necessary knowledge and skills needed to ensure the best sports-related healthcare possible.

Athlete's Responsibilities
Before athletic participation, all athletes are to have the following completed and given to the athletic trainer:
- Completed physical exam form performed by an MD, using the standard form.
- Compete student-athlete information: to request access to SportsWare Online, go to https://www.swol123.net (School ID is "Chabot Gladiators")
- Any other academic/ administrative paperwork (ask your coach)
In Case of Injury
- Inform an athletic trainer or your coach about the injury.
- If indicated, medical referral will be made.
- Follow recommendations from the attending MD.
- Upon clearance from the athletic trainer and/or MD, you may return to competitive status.
Responsibility
The student-athlete must take responsibility for all insurance matters. You must communicate with the athletic training staff, insurance companies, primary care and/or team physician to ensure all procedures are followed correctly. You are ultimately financially responsible for all charges following an athletic injury. The athletic department does not assume responsibility for your medical bills.
