Fresh off a solid showing in the Coast Conference meet, the Chabot men’s swimming team delivered some quality efforts at the 3C2A Swimming and Diving Championships at Orange Coast College.
The host Chabot College men’s team had a strong effort at the Coast Conference Swimming and Diving Championships last week. The Glads men took third place with 495 points, and the Chabot women were 10th with 129 points.
Chabot’s Matthew Proctor (4:35.79) and Austyn Hunt (4:38.50) were fourth and fifth in the 400 IM at the Hawk Invite at Las Positas College (March 29-30).
The Chabot men’s team is looking good in the pool, led by freshmen Austyn Hunt of Colorado and sophomore Matthew Proctor of Castro Valley, a returning state qualifier.
It was a great first day of swimming for the Gladiators at the Coast Conference Championships on April 19, highlighted by personal best swims for almost everyone who competed.
