Chabot (9-4) entered the week atop the Coast-North Conference in overall record after blasting two opponents to end the previous. They trounced Contra Costa 27-3 in eight innings on Friday and Diablo Valley 6-0 on Saturday.

Raoul Fabian Jr., Jalen Owens and Noah Martin slugged home runs in the 24-hit parade against the outmanned Comets. Owens had three hits and three Glads each had three RBI -- TJ Costello, Kolin Fukuki and Mason Hanshaw. The Glads amassed 12 extra base hits. A trio of relievers each pitched a scoreless inning: Ciaran O'Connell, Antonio Villalobos (0 hits, 3 Ks) and Jack Downing (0 hits, 3 Ks).
