Chabot Men's Tennis 2nd place team finish in 46th Annual Modesto Tourney! (L-R), Stefan Schneider, Arav Waghray, and Adam Linette

The Chabot men's tennis team showed some serious skill en route to a second-place finish in the 46th annual Modesto Tournament. The Gladiators had two singles finalists and two doubles finalists.
In singles, Arav Waghray made the Flight 1 finals and Adam Linette advanced to the Flight 2 finals. Ben Deriquito made the Flight 3 Singles semifinals.
In doubles, Waghray and Linette roared into the Flight 1 finals, and Deriquito and Stefan Schneider advanced to the Flight 2 finals.
The Chabot men's team will host William Jessup on Thursday, in the first meeting between the two programs. It will also mark a homecoming for three Chabot alumni now on scholarship at the university — Roger Wen, Sam Smith and Noah Moeckelmann.
Chabot has a 2-0 season record.
