The successful Chabot men's tennis team kept rolling in the Norcal Dual Team playoffs with a 7-0 win over Cosumnes River in the quarterfinals on April 5.
The Gladiators also beat Modesto Junior College 6-3 in the semifinals on April 12 and will face American River in the Northern California Dual Team finals, with the winner advancing to the State Championship match on April 23 against the Southern California team winner.
In singles and doubles, Chabot has also packed a wallop. Arav Waghray won the Coast Conference singles title over Andy Fang of Foothill 6-2, 6-1. Chabot's Ben Deriquito and Stefan Schneider won the Coast Conference doubles championship over Fang and Marius Engelmann of Foothill 6-2, 2-1 (retired).
