Past Friday, April 19th, 2019, at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific Reece Proctor broke the Chabot College 800 meter record with a phenomenal time of 1:49.92.  The previous record was held by Vernon Sallez set in with a time of 1:50.12 1979.  Attached is a video of Reece's race which he won.

Reece would currently be ranked 4th in the NCAA among fellow freshmen and is currently in conversation with Cal, Colorado, Indiana, and Washington to continue his studies and athletic endeavors.
