The Chabot men's cross country team capped a very strong season with a 15th place finish in the CCCAA State Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park-Fresno on Nov. 17.
The hard-knocking tandem of Reece Proctor and Sebastian Andersson led the Gladiators. Proctor placed 32nd as individual in the 4-mile race in a time of 21 minutes, 12.3 seconds. Andersson was 37th (21:18.3).
With 384 points, Chabot was the clear top team in the East Bay at state. Lucas Vigil was 79th (21:52.4). Jahdai Bolds was 154th (23:13.7).
