HUGE WIN OVER CCSF

The Chabot women's basketball team finished off City College of San Francisco with authority in the Glads' Coast-North opener on Friday, Jan. 12. Kelly Tumlin had a game-high 33 points, and Chabot broke open a close game to win going away, 78-65.
"Huge win over City," said Chabot coach Mark Anger, whose team improved to 7-1 at home this season. 
Chabot entered the week ranked 16th in the CCCWCA State Poll and No. 9 in the North.
Also coming up big for the Glads were Jadyn Anderson with 22 points (11-17 fg) and seven rebounds and Nia Hunter with 16 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. 
Chabot (13-6, 1-0) shot 52.5 percent from the field and helped force 19 Rams turnovers. The Glads committed just eight turnovers.
Tumlin, who has received an offer from Cal State East Bay, is ranked 12th in the state in scoring at 20.4 points per game. 
The big conference challenges keep coming for Chabot, which will host College of San Mateo (13-5, 0-1) at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and then will travel to first-place Skyline (9-11, 2-0) on Friday.
