REVENGE IS SWEET FOR GLADS

The Chabot women's basketball team had balanced scoring in a much-needed win over host College of Mateo, 71-66, on Friday, Feb. 9.
Chabot, in avenging a loss to CSM in the first round of conference play, started fast and led 43-30 at the half, staving off a big Bulldogs' push in the third quarter to prevail.
The Glads (16-9, 4-3 Coast-North) are in third place with three conference games to go.
Kelly Tumlin led the way with 17 points, and three players had 15 points apiece, Alexa Pletschette, Nia Hunter, and Jadyn Anderson.
Pletschette had a double-double, also with 11 rebounds. Anderson was 7 of 14 from the floor and had seven boards. Tumlin added five rebounds, three assists and three steals, going 7 of 9 on free throws.
Chabot has another big game at home against conference co-leader Skyline (13-12, 6-1) on Wednesday, before closing conference play against Las Positas and Ohlone.
