The Chabot wrestling team shined in contested matches against San Rosa Junior College in a 28-27 defeat, which was decided in the fourth criteria, total takedowns, after ending in a 27-27 tie on Friday, Oct. 4.

The Gladiators got victories in contested matches from Christopher Do, at 149 pounds; Hussein Abushi (184); Lazaro Carrasco (285); and Diego Ahumada (125).

But Chabot had a bit too much to make up after forfeiting three matches and 18 points before the team contest started.
