Chabot College freshman Elle Surber was the Coast Conference champion in the women's 50 freestyle  and 100 freestyle at Chabot last week. Her times were 24.78 seconds in the 50 and 54.48 in the 100.

Surber qualified for the State Meet in both events.

Freshman Preslee Chase also qualified for the State Meet in three events: 200 butterfly, 400 IM and 1650 free.
