The Chabot College women's tennis team qualified the No. 1 seeded singles player and No. 1 seeded doubles team from the Northern California Regional Championships for the State Championships, May 6-7 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
The state tourney pits the top eight from the North and South, to determine CA Singles and Doubles champions!
In singles, Chabot star and No. 1 seed Zoe Olmos topped the Northern California Regionals on April 29, and Olmos teamed with Julie Santiago to lead the North in doubles as the No. 1 seed.
The Chabot women's team finished an outstanding season with a 17-3 overall record and as co-champions with Canada in the Coast Conference, both with 11-1 conference marks. Chabot reached the NorCal Team Tennis finals, and fell to Canada 5-3.
