The Chabot women’s tennis team has lots of new faces, with only two returners from last year’s Northern California Team Championship finalist that featured Zoe Olmos, the CA State Singles and Doubles champion.

The Chabot women's tennis team has lots of new faces, with only two returners from last year's Northern California Team Championship finalist that featured Zoe Olmos, the CA State Singles and Doubles champion.
But the new-look Glads remain very competitive. Chabot split its first two matches in 2023, besting Canada 6-1 in conference play and falling to Saddleback 7-2.
Returners Gabby Madison (Castro Valley HS) and Ronnette Tolentino (San Leandro) are key players. Tolentino cruised to victory against Canada, and Tolentino rallied for a tough three-set win against Saddleback.
Impressively, Olmos is now the No. 1 player at Cal State Fullerton on a full scholarship.
