A pair of Chabot women's pole vaulters, Kayley Ho and Janessa Fanuncio. finished their seasons on the podium at the NorCal Finals in Modesto last week. Ho placed fourth and Fanuncio finished sixth with vaults of 2.85 meters and 2.55 meters.

STATE INFO.: The "all-finals" CCCAA state championship meet at CSM's College Heights Stadium gets underway Friday at 9:30 a.m. with the men's decathlon 100-meter race, followed by the women's heptathlon 100-meter hurdles. Only two running event finals will be on Friday, the women's 10,000 meters at 11 a.m., followed by the men's 10K at 12 noon. Eight field events finals for men and women will be on Friday: hammer throw, long jump, javelin throw, and high jump -- from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All other events are on Saturday, from 12:20 p.m. (steeplechase) to 5:15 p.m. (4 x 400-meter relays). Saturday begins again with the multi-events, at 9 a.m.
