A 35-year-old Chabot women's 4x100 meter relay mark was broken in the second meet of the season at the Gladiators' home opener. The team of Brittney Canate, Daja Johnson, Autriyana Hardy, and Aishah Ahmed broke the 1984 record with a time of 48.17 seconds, the second fastest time in California. Johnson placed second in the women's 200 with a time of 25.18, a top-four mark in the Chabot record book.
