Chabot Baseball is on a 9 game win streak!
The Chabot baseball team remains one of the hottest squads in the state, opening conference play with a three-game sweep of Cañada last week.
The Glads extended their winning streak to nine with victories over the Colts of 15-3, 13-6 and 8-5. Chabot (15-7, 3-0) enters the week in a tie for first place with Skyline and College of San Mateo in the Coast-North.
Chabot has a team .303 batting average and .496 slugging percentage. Three Glads rank in the conference's top five in batting average — TJ Costello (.394), Joseph Coupland (.386) and Jonathan Sheppard (.386). Costello is also fifth in RBI with 20, and Terrel Romain is third in home runs with six, two spots ahead of Juan Pablo Manzo, with five.
Chabot pitcher Cole Aney is fifth in the conference in both wins (four) and earned run average (2.51).
