I want to thank Dr. Thompson Vice president of academic services, Dale Wagoner Dean of Health Kinesiology and Athletics and Jeff Drouin Director of Athletics for offering me the full time Kinesiology and Head Men’s Basketball coach position here at Chabot College. I am humbled and excited to be the Head Men’s Basketball coach for the Chabot College Gladiators.  I consider Chabot College to be one of the best coaching positions in Northern California. Elevation back to the top for the Chabot College Men’s Basketball program begins with the foundation of retention, graduation and transfer of our student athletes. Chabot College participates in the Coast Conference North which is the #1 conference in Northern California for basketball. We will compete to win the Coast Conference North and the state championship every year.

Coach McMiller has coached at Merritt College in Oakland, Ca for the past 10 years in which he has an overall record 160-130. Over the past 6 years as the head coach at Merritt College coach McMiller has an overall record of 78-64. During Coach McMiller tenure at Merritt College he accomplished 2 State final four championship appearances, 4 state playoff appearances and 7 winning seasons. Born and raised in Oakland, California coach McMiller was a student athlete on the 1999-2000 Chabot College Men’s Basketball state playoff team playing for the late Chabot College Head men’s basketball coach Tony Costello.
