GLADS CRUSH OHLONE

Lex Pletschette scored a game-high 22 points as the Chabot women's basketball team routed visiting Ohlone 80-39 on Jan. 8 in the teams' Coast-North Conference openers.
Pletschette was an impressive 10 for 10 from the free throw line. Nia Hunter and Kenya Craven both had 12 points. Pletschette and Craven had double-doubles, each also with 10 rebounds.
Freshman Zhanea Clemons also stepped up with a career-high 10 points in the balanced blowout. Every Chabot player scored.
Chabot (9-9, 1-0) also dropped nonconference game at Butte 59-39 on Friday, Jan. 10.
The Gladiators were down by eight with five minutes to go before Butte pulled away.
