CHABOT WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYOFF BOUND!!!

The Chabot women's basketball team earned the No. 12 seed for the 3C2A Northern California Regional playoffs and will host No. 21 Napa Valley at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Round 1.
The winner will travel to No. 5 Folsom Lake on Saturday in Round 2.
Chabot (17-11, 8-2 Coast-North), guided by head coach Mark Anger, finished second behind City College of San Francisco in conference. The Glads fell to CCSF 67-55 in their conference finale last week after trailing by just three at the half. Lex Pletschette led the Glads with 20 points, and Nia Hunter had 18 points. CCSF was 10-0 in conference, 18-8 overall, and earned the seventh seed in the playoffs.
The Glads were rewarded for their fine seasons with individual honors. Pletschette and Hunter were selected to first-team all conference. Pletschette was also third-team All State, and Hunter was conference Defensive Player of the year.
Making second-team all conference were Chelsy Antinero and Kenya Craven.
