With three individual placers, the Chabot wrestling team finished sixth with 42 points in the Modesto Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 12
Sophomore Lazaro Carrasco paced the Gladiators with a second-place finish in the 197-pound weight class. Carrasco lost by fall against Jack Kilner of Fresno City in 4:50 in the Championship Finals.
Freshman Christopher Do was fourth at 133 pounds, losing by fall against Salvador Velasco of West Hills in 2:25 in the Consolation Finals.
Chabot's Hussein Abushi won the 184-pound consolation title by default over Kevin Hope of Mt. SAC.
