The Chabot women’s soccer team has had enough quality wins and closely waged matches this season to call the debut campaign of head coach Dan Chubbock a big success.
The Chabot women’s soccer team opened the first conference season under new head coach Dan Chubbock with a sweet 2-1 victory over Hartnell on Friday, Sept. 29.
Marin Michieli scored in the 78th minute to give Chabot a 1-0 lead, but Foothill answered with a goal a minute later as the teams wound up tied, 1-1, on Sept. 22 in Hayward.
The Chabot women’s soccer team continued to show improvement while extending its unbeaten streak to four with a heady 0-0 draw against Las Positas on Oct. 8 in the Coast-North.
The Chabot women’s soccer team enjoyed an outstanding week with a 3-1 win over Sacramento City on Sept. 28 to complete nonconference play, followed by a 2-0 triumph over Ohlone on Oct. 1 in its Coast Conference-North opener.
Goalkeeper Abby Burnell worked her second consecutive shutout and the Chabot College women’s soccer team remained unbeaten with a 3-0 triumph at Marin on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Fresh off a 4-0 win over Marin on Sept. 18 highlighted by Marisol Martinez’s two goals and goalie Abigail Burnell’s clean sheet, the Chabot women’s soccer team will open conference play with back-to-back road games.
